2012 UDI Awards recognize Tapestry

Vancouver, BC – On Friday, October 26 the Urban Development Institute Pacific Region hosted its biennial ‘Awards for Excellence’. The awards given during this black tie gala recognize outstanding urban development projects in British Columbia.

Concert was pleased to have been called to the stage to receive the Best Mid-Rise Residential Award for Tapestry at Wesbrook Village – the third in a series of unique Tapestry-branded Retirement Communities.

“With Tapestry at Wesbrook Village, our vision was to create a seniors residence that enhances lifestyles by integrating the development and its residents with the surrounding campus community, focusing on new heights in terms of sustainability and including amenities and services on par with those of a five-star hotel,” said Concert’s President, Brian McCauley. “It is an honour to have our efforts acknowledged with such a sought-after award.”

Tapestry at Wesbrook Village joins Concert’s first two Tapestry Retirement Communities – at Arbutus Walk in Vancouver and Village Gate West in Etobicoke – as an award-winning community.
