While it is typical within the property management industry to have an initial “lease-up” period for a new rental building last a year or more, Concert’s latest rental development in Vancouver was a notable exception.
Axis, located in the heart of the University of British Columbia campus, was fully leased as it welcomed residents for the first time earlier this month.
What explains this leasing success story? Was it the contemporary finishes, the energy-efficient dishwasher and in-suite laundry, or perhaps the unobstructed views of the water, city and North Shore Mountains? Whatever the case, we are certainly pleased to have the building now fully occupied with students, faculty, campus staff and employees of businesses located on campus.
