David Podmore will be celebrated at Business in Vancouver’s 2017 BC CEO Awards gala on November 8, 2017. Honoured in the Enterprise category, Podmore will share leadership lessons with an audience of Vancouver's business community at the gala and be profiled in the publication.
A judging committee selected the honourees by considering their vision and strategy, financial performance, people development, innovation, social responsibility and sustainability. Under 28 years of leadership – 24 of which Podmore served as CEO – Concert grew into a national enterprise with nearly $2.4 billion in committed equity and over $5 billion in owned assets and assets under management.
Podmore retired from his position as Concert CEO in June of this year, but will continue from the Vancouver office as Board Chair for CREC, Concert Properties Ltd. and the CREC Commercial Fund Investment Committee, as well as Board Chair & Chief Executive Officer of Concert Infrastructure Ltd.
