Vancouver, BC, Canada – Concert is pleased to announce that it has been nominated as a finalist in the Canadian Home Builders’ Association’s 2008 National SAM Awards in four categories.
Concert’s new six-storey Chelsea condominium development in Victoria has been nominated for Best Multi-Family Project. The 16-storey Emporio residential tower in Richmond is a finalist for Best Sales Office and for Marketing Excellence. Concert has also been named a finalist for the Canadian home building industry’s highest honour, the American Standard Grand SAM Award.
“Given the record number of entries this year, Concert is very honoured to have been nominated for these prestigious industry awards,” says David Podmore, President & CEO, Concert Properties Ltd. “Our goal in developing Chelsea and Emporio was to create the best residential homes possible, while blending into these two vibrant, well-established neighbourhoods.”
With each endeavour, Concert is focused on people, innovative design, superior standards of construction, customer service and community values. This commitment is exemplified by projects such as Emporio and Chelsea.
The National SAM Awards celebrate excellence in new homes and renovation design, innovative technology and construction techniques, outstanding presentations, and marketing and sales activities across Canada.
Twenty-three National SAM Awards will be presented at the CHBA’s 66th National Conference on February 28, 2009 in Québec City, Québec, when industry and government leaders and CHBA members from across the country gather together to honour this year’s award winners.
