Concert Named a Finalist in the 2008 Georgie Awards®

Vancouver, BC, Canada – Concert is pleased to announce that it has been nominated for 10 Georgie Awards® by the BC Chapter of the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association for three of its residential developments – Chelsea, Tapestry and Emporio.

Concert was nominated in three categories for Chelsea, its six-storey lowrise in Victoria – Best Multi-Family Development Low Rise, Best Interior Design Display Suite – Multi-Family and Best Multi-Family Landscape Design.

Concert’s Tapestry condominium development in Vancouver was nominated in two categories – Best Multi-Family Development High Rise for its 10-storey Heather Building and Best Multi-Family Development Low Rise for its six-storey Avenue Building.

Emporio in Richmond received three Georgie nominations – Residential Development of theYear, Marketing Campaign of the Year and Best Brochure.

Concert also received two more prestigious nominations – Multi-Family Home Builder of the Year and High Rise Home Builder of the Year.

Judged by a panel of seven industry professionals from across North America, the Georgie Awards® received more than 500 entries from across British Columbia.

Named after Capt. George Vancouver, the Georgie Awards® were created in 1992 by the BC Chapter of the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association to recognize the best in British Columbia’s housing industry.

The 2008 winners will be announced at the 2008 Georgie Awards® Gala, which will take place on January 30, 2009 at the Westin Bayshore, Vancouver.
