Ten nominations for Concert in 2011 Georgie Awards

Much like proud parents the Concert team is glowing with pride after having received ten nominations in the 2011 Georgie Awards® by the BC Chapter of the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association.

Patina, the company’s landmark 42-storey tower in downtown Vancouver was nominated for Best Multi-Family High Rise Development, Best Sales Centre and for High Rise Residential Community of the Year.

Also in Vancouver, Concert’s Tapestry at Wesbrook Village UBC seniors community was nominated for Best Multi-Family Low Rise Development, Best Multi-Family Landscape Design, Best Signage, Best Brochure, Best Ad Campaign, Marketing Campaign of the Year and for the Sustainable and Innovative Community Award.

“We consider Patina and Tapestry at Wesbrook Village UBC to be among our most innovative developments to date, so it was a particular honour to have them recognized with nominations in so many coveted award categories,” said Brian McCauley, President, Concert Properties Ltd.

Judged by a panel of industry professionals, the Georgie Awards® were created in 1992 by the BC Chapter of the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association to recognize the best in British Columbia’s housing industry.

The winners will be announced at the 2011 Georgie Awards® Gala, which will take place in Vancouver on February 25, 2012 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.
