Brian McCauley, President & Chief Executive Officer
Having joined Concert in 1994, today Brian serves as Concert's President and Chief Executive Officer. For over 23 years Brian has played a key role in the development of some of Concert’s largest mixed-use projects, and in 2001 guided Concert’s expansion in Ontario where he lead the development of assured rental housing in Toronto. He presently serves on the boards of the Urban Development Institute (UDI) Pacific Region, Junior Achievement BC, the Funding Allocation & Housing Committee for Streetohome and is a past director of the Building Industry and Land Development Association of Toronto (BILD). Brian is a passionate supporter of the real estate development industry, and is an experienced and much sought-after speaker on real estate related matters.
John McLaughlin, FCPA/FCA, Chief Financial Officer
In 2011 John joined Concert as Chief Financial Officer, assuming leadership of the company’s finance function. On a daily basis John is actively engaged in supporting sound decision-making and ensuring financial accountability throughout the organization. He previously served for a decade as the Executive VP and CFO for VANOC, and played an integral role in making Vancouver’s 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games one of the most successful in history. John has also held senior finance positions with several private and not-for-profit organizations in a range of industries, including Expo 86.
Andrew Tong, Senior Vice President, Investments
With over 23 years at Concert, Andrew is responsible for leading the strategic planning and key operational activities of Concert’s income portfolio (office, industrial and residential rental) across Canada. Responsibilities include overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, asset and portfolio investment management, term financing and commercial leasing. Additionally, Andrew oversees Concert’s residential condominium and seniors land acquisitions nationally. In 2016, Andrew played a key role with the creation and capital raising of Concert’s CREC Commercial Fund LP, an open-ended limited partnership, which includes over 60 office and industrial properties, and serves as the Fund’s Managing Director.
Ken Bogress, Senior Vice President, Special Projects
An industry veteran who joined Concert in 1996 with construction and sales experience, Ken has been instrumental in the successful development of numerous projects during his tenure – most notably the highly-acclaimed and financially successful Patina and Robert Lee YMCA projects in downtown Vancouver. Ken also played a key role in the delivery, ongoing management and oversight of the operator for Concert’s portfolio of Tapestry Retirement Communities. Currently, Ken is involved with select development projects in Western Canada.
Arif Rahemtulla, Senior Vice President, Construction
Arif joined Concert in 1997. He holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of British Columbia and is a professional engineer with 37 years of experience in civil engineering, construction and project management with a special emphasis on residential highrise projects. He has managed projects locally and overseas in various capacities including positions with consultants and general contractors. Arif has oversight for Concert’s construction operations across Canada including technical feasibility assessments, detailed design, procurement, construction delivery and post-construction service.
Colleen Anderson, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Since joining Concert in 1997, Colleen has been instrumental in executing successful sales programs for Concert’s most notable condominium developments in Victoria, Metro Vancouver and Toronto. After 20 years with Concert and having transitioned from project sales to project positioning and strategic planning, Colleen was promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing in 2015. Today Colleen oversees sales, marketing and communications efforts across the company’s diverse operations and serves as the Managing Broker for Concert Realty Services Ltd.
Bev Greene, Senior Vice President, Property Management
Involved in the property management industry for 44 years, Bev has been with Concert for over 16 years and oversees the day-to-day operations of Concert’s property management team across BC, Alberta and Ontario. Whether devising strategies to nurture resident relationships or navigating the impacts of changing legislation, Bev proudly embraces Concert’s core values and was named one of Canadian Apartment Magazine’s Women of Influence in 2013.
Craig Watters, Senior Vice President, Development
Craig joined Concert in 2010 as Vice President, Development and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Development in 2017, and now oversees all development activities for Concert across the country. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate development industry, Craig previously held senior leadership positions where he was responsible for large-scale mixed-use community development, including acquisition and strategic planning activities across Canada and the United States, as well as the provision of real estate advisory services internationally.
