Concert is an award-winning, diversified real estate enterprise involved in developing and acquiring industrial and commercial properties, rental housing, multi-family condominium housing, resort developments and seniors living communities in BC, Alberta, and Ontario.

Since Concert was established in 1989, we have grown significantly in the depth of our work. Highlights of our accomplishments to date include:

  • Completion of developments in excess of $2 billion value

  • Over 8,500 rental and condominium homes completed, under construction, or in the planning stage

  • Construction/acquisition of more than 5.9 million square feet of industrial, retail and commercial space

  • Developed/acquired over 8.1 million square feet of income producing properties

  • Creation of more than 16.6 million person-hours of on-site employment, and contribution of in excess of $72.3 million to affiliated pension, health and welfare plans

  • Growth of company assets exceeding $1.4 billion, and shareholder equity of approximately $800 million

  • Owned exclusively by Canadian union and management pension funds

  • Awarded the Canadian home building industry’s highest honour – the Grand SAM Award – in 2003 and 2004, by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association

  • Named Best Home Builder in British Columbia by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC in 2000 and 2002

  • Received, in total, over 100 gold and silver Georgie Awards and 13 SAM Awards from the Canadian Home Builders’ Association, in addition to multiple awards from the Urban Development Institute and other associations

  • Voted one of the “Best Companies to Work for in BC” by BC Business Magazine (2009) and one of the “Best Workplaces in Canada” by Canadian Business Magazine (2007)

  • Committed to customer service and offers homeowners and tenants access to “Concert On-Call” a dedicated team and request line for repairs and maintenance

  • Received the award for “Best Customer Service” at the 2009 Canadian Homebuilders’ Association’s CARE Awards of Vancouver Island as well as the “Special Achievement Customer Choice Award” from the BC Chapter of the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association in their 2008 Georgie Awards
