Status
- Phases I and II, made up of 93 single family lots, a 32-unit townhome site and a 40-unit bare land strata lot are all sold.
- Construction on the 57 lots at Phase III commenced in April 2007 and was completed in October 2007. All the Phase III lots are sold.
- Work on 38-lot Phase IV is well in hand, with road grading and the installation of deep utilities complete.
- Completion of Phase IV servicing is scheduled for late spring 2008.
- Lots in Phase IV will be available for sale in early summer 2008.
Description
This comprehensively planned and phased residential community will contain 196 single-family lots, 32 townhomes and 40 bare-land strata units on approximately 71 acres, situated on two upland benches overlooking the North Thompson Valley.Saddleback Hills is designed and engineered to meet the City of Kamloops stringent standards as well as Concert’s own building design guidelines. Concert, a co-owner with the Operating Engineers Pension Plan, is also the development manager for the project. As development managers, Concert undertook the process of assessing the hillside land, determined the most suitable application for the site and designed the land accordingly. Right from the design phase, Concert has seen the property through the approvals process, and into the construction of all roads, utilities and green spaces.
Saddleback Hills is being completed in four phases. Phase I completed in May 2005; Phase II in March 2006; Phase III in October 2007; and Phase IV, 37 lots, is scheduled for completion in late spring 2008.
