Open house held in conjunction with Harbourside rezoning

Work continues toward the realization of Concert’s vision of a vibrant, mixed-use community on the waterfront of North Vancouver.

Concert’s application to the City of North Vancouver to amend their Official Community Plan (OCP) for the partially developed area known as Harbourside was approved in July 2012. Late last year, Concert proceeded with the next step in the development process and an application for rezoning has now been submitted. This rezoning application aligns with the amended OCP and proposes significant public amenities for the waterfront site.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community consultation, Concert will be holding an informal “ Open House ” this month at Capliano Mall where the public is encouraged to drop by and learn about what is envisioned for Harbourside. In addition to having a look at presentation boards that will serve to animate the rezoning application, attendees will have the opportunity to speak with the Concert development team and some of the consultants involved with the project. January 17 from 5pm – 8pm at Capilano Mall (Grande Court).

Later this month, Concert will host a “ Developer Information Session ” which will include a formal presentation by the Concert development team and consultants followed by a question and answer period. January 24 from 6pm – 8:30pm at the Pinnacle Hotel (presentation at 7:00pm).

More information on Harbourside can be found on the recently updated website, HarboursideWaterfront.com . If you have not already done so, be sure to register your interest to receive regular updates via email.
