Accounts Payable Specialist (Vancouver)

Position Summary

This position will report directly to the Manager, Finance Operations and will support the IPP Accounting and Corporate Accounting teams as part of their day-to-day responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Part of team that looks after the IPP AP Process (P2P)

  • Assist with system development and testing (P2P)

  • Follow up and tracking of invoices with the property management team

  • Assist with Development and Corporate payables as needed

  • Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements, review of AP aging reports

  • Assist Corporate Accounting team with ad hoc responsibilities as assigned 

Knowledge and Skills

  • 2-3 years full cycle AP experience is an asset

  • Highly organized and can effectively prioritize and multi-task under multiple deadlines 

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrifice to quality of work

  • Takes a positive approach to responsibilities and interpersonal interactions

  • Team player and excellent customer service skills

  • Quick learner and works well independently

  • Possess good analytical skills and is detail oriented

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Yardi 7S experience and strong Excel skills is an asset
