Capital Park Development gets Unanimous Approval from Council

On Thursday, March 12 Victoria City Council gave unanimous approval for Concert and Jawl Properties’ Capital Park development by way of amendments to the Official Community Plan and Zoning.

Located in the heart of Victoria near the northern edge of the historic and picturesque James Bay neighbourhood, Capital Park is envisioned as a unique, high quality mixed-use community that will be a place to live, work and explore. It will incorporate market-leading office space, dynamic and vital retail amenities, a range of housing options and a comprehensive network of well-appointed public areas. The site, which encompasses close to a full city block, is currently occupied by a number of surface parking lots, four commercial buildings accommodating provincial government offices and five unoccupied heritage houses.
