Concert has been named a finalist in two additional prestigious Georgie Award categories – the Customer Choice Georgie Award® powered by AVID™ and Large Volume Multi-Family Home Builder of the Year – by the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association of BC. These nominations come in addition to the ten nominations Concert has already received for its Patina and Tapestry at Wesbrook Village UBC developments.
Since 2008, Concert has been recognized three consecutive years in a row with the Customer Choice Georgie Award. A win in this year’s Georgie Awards would mark the fourth straight year for this award which speaks to overall homebuyer satisfaction. The company has also been named Large Volume Multi-Family Home Builder of the Year (and equivalent awards) four times since 2000.

Judged by a panel of industry professionals, the Georgie Awards were created in 1992 by the BC Chapter of the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association to recognize the best in British Columbia’s housing industry. As part of the awards, through AVID™ Ratings consumers are given the ability to rate builders and renovators on all aspects of the home buying process, from construction and product satisfaction, to warranty service experience to referral intentions. CHBA BC, in partnership with AVID™ Ratings, applies the survey results in the Customer Choice Georgie Awards® categories and as part of the total criteria for the Builder of the Year Category.
The winners will be announced at the 2011 Georgie Awards Gala, which will take place in Vancouver on February 25, 2012 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.
