Brian McCauley, President & CEO
Having joined Concert in 1994, today Brian serves as Concert's President and Chief Executive Officer. For over 25 years Brian has played a key role in the development of some of Concert’s largest mixed-use projects, and in 2001 guided Concert’s expansion in Ontario where he lead the development of assured rental housing in Toronto. He presently serves on the boards of the Urban Development Institute (UDI) Pacific Region, Junior Achievement BC, the Funding Allocation & Housing Committee for Streetohome and is a past director of the Building Industry and Land Development Association of Toronto (BILD). Brian is a passionate supporter of the real estate development industry, and is an experienced and much sought-after speaker on real estate related matters.
John Dooling, CPA, CA, Chief Financial Officer
John joined Concert in 2014 and has been instrumental in building an exceptional team and increasing the financial and accounting capabilities at Concert. He was named Concert's Chief Financial Officer in July, 2020, with financial responsibility for both Concert Properties and Concert Infrastructure Fund. Prior to joining Concert, he held senior positions in diverse sectors. He played a key role in the success of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games through his development and execution of the Vancouver Olympic Budget. John continued to support the Olympic sector as an advisor for Sochi 2014, and as CFO at the 2014 Special Olympic Canada Summer Games and continues to serve as a board member of the Games Operating Trust.
Andrew Tong, Senior Vice President, Investments
With over 27 years at Concert, Andrew is responsible for leading the strategic planning and key operational activities of Concert’s income portfolio (office, industrial and residential rental) across Canada. Responsibilities include overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, asset and portfolio investment management, term financing and commercial leasing. Additionally, Andrew oversees Concert’s residential condominium and seniors land acquisitions nationally. In 2016, Andrew played a key role with the creation and capital raising of Concert’s CREC Commercial Fund LP, an open-ended limited partnership which includes over 70 office and industrial properties, and has served since inception as the Fund’s Managing Director.
Arif Rahemtulla, Senior Vice President, Construction
Arif joined Concert in 1997. He holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of British Columbia and is a professional engineer with 37 years of experience in civil engineering, construction and project management with a special emphasis on residential highrise projects. He has managed projects locally and overseas in various capacities including positions with consultants and general contractors. Arif has oversight for Concert’s construction operations across Canada including technical feasibility assessments, detailed design, procurement, construction delivery and post-construction service.
Colleen Anderson, Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Communications
Since joining Concert in 1997, Colleen has been instrumental in executing successful sales programs for Concert’s most notable condominium developments in Victoria, Metro Vancouver and Toronto. After 20 years with Concert and having transitioned from project sales to project positioning and strategic planning, Colleen was promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing in 2015. Today Colleen oversees sales, marketing and communications efforts across the company’s diverse operations and serves as the Managing Broker for Concert Realty Services Ltd.
Craig Watters, Senior Vice President, Development
Craig joined Concert in 2010 as Vice President, Development and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Development in 2017. Craig oversees all development activities for Concert across the country. With over 25 years of experience in the real estate development industry, Craig previously held senior leadership positions where he was responsible for large-scale mixed-use community development, including acquisition and strategic planning activities across Canada and the United States, as well as the provision of real estate advisory services internationally.
Kerri Jackson, Senior Vice President, Property Management
Bringing more than 15 years of residential property management experience, Kerri Jackson joined Concert as its Senior Vice President, Property Management in July 2020. Having managed portfolios across Canada ranging in size from 3,500 to 10,000 suites, she has a proven record of providing strategic direction and operations leadership to diverse property management teams across the country. In her previous role, Kerri was an integral member of the team responsible for creating a digital residential platform in the formation of QuadReal Property Group. Kerri holds a Master of Business Administration from the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor. She is pursuing a Certified Property Manager designation through the Real Estate Institute of Canada and currently serves as Director on the Board for LandlordBC.
Mark S. Andrew, Senior Vice President, Tapestry
Mark joined Concert as Senior Vice President, Seniors, in 2018 bringing more than 30 years of hotel operations, marketing and sales, and transformational management experience in the North American hospitality industry. Mark started his career as a frontline hotel employee and quickly progressed to assume the role of General Manager at several top-tier properties in Canada and the US. With a solid track record for enhancing property performance and customer satisfaction, Mark assumed executive accountability on a regional basis for world-class properties. More recently, Mark played a key role in Vancouver’s successful bid for the 2010 Olympic Games and led the transformation of multiple wellness and leisure-focused properties, establishing heightened levels of superior quality and customer experience. A graduate of Vancouver Community College, Mark’s leadership abilities have been recognized with a distinguished President’s Award by Meeting Professionals International.
Derron Bain, Managing Director, Concert Infrastructure Fund
Having joined Concert Infrastructure at its inception in 2010, Derron leads the strategy, origination, development, investment, financing, and asset management activities of the Concert Infrastructure Fund. Over a twenty-year period, Derron has an extensive track record of successfully leading the planning, financing, delivery and management of complex public private partnership infrastructure projects and multi-disciplinary teams on behalf of both government and private sector entities. With this experience he brings a unique perspective and understanding of the Canadian infrastructure market as well as the intersection between government and private sector business. A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada and Dalhousie University, prior to his career in infrastructure, Derron was a maritime warfare officer in the Royal Canadian Navy.
