Living Room - Penthouse at TESORO

Unveiling TESORO’s treasure: A look inside the Penthouse

Set atop one of Vancouver’s most iconic waterfront locations, the Penthouse at TESORO is now complete. This extraordinary residence is more than a home—it’s the pinnacle of Concert Properties’ decades-long commitment to thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship and uncompromising quality.

From its earliest stages, TESORO was envisioned as a collection of homes that would reflect the best of Vancouver. TESORO, Italian for “treasure”, lives up to its name and its Penthouse is its crowning jewel. Unique in both its design and finishings, the Penthouse stands as a refined reflection of West Coast luxury. Designed as a full-floor residence, it offers uninterrupted 360-degree views of False Creek, downtown and the North Shore mountains. Further, TESORO’s 17th-floor vantage point offers a closer connection to the shoreline and surrounding landscape.

This sense of belonging is what defines the Penthouse at TESORO. It’s expansive, yet intimate. Elevated, yet understated. “Our goal was to create something spectacular but elegant in both form and feeling,” said Jen Brown, Director, Product & Interior Design. “The materials, the flow, the finishes all reflect a sense of quiet luxury. It’s West Coast design executed with care and intention.”

The moment you step into the home, that intention is clear. Through a private elevator lobby, framed by custom millwork, stone and bronze, the oak double doors open to reveal the view: a panorama of water, skyline and mountains. The living room spills onto an expansive open-air terrace that invites you to step outside and experience it all firsthand. “We approached the design with the view as our anchor,” said Brown. “It was never about competing with it; it was about creating a home that lets the view take the lead.”

Inside, the home balances refinement with a natural sense of ease. Natural Light washes over a neutral palette that subtly reflects the tones of the surrounding shoreline with wide-plank oak flooring and natural stone. “Most of the finishes are matte, not polished,” said Brown. “It’s luxury that’s meant to be felt rather than shown. It reflects both Concert Properties design philosophy and the kind of subtle confidence that defines Vancouver.” She added, “It’s about spaces that feel grounded and connected to their surroundings.”

Spanning 5,062 square feet indoors and 744 outdoors, the residence features a bulthaup-designed main kitchen with a Calacatta Oro marble island, top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances and a dedicated wine room with backlit onyx slabs. “We wanted the kitchen to feel effortless,” said Brown. “It is designed with every touchpoint and material thoughtfully selected to offer both function and refinement. It carries the precision and beauty you expect in a home like this.” For ease and flexibility when entertaining, the home also has a separate prep kitchen with stainless steel counters and a Wolf range.

These high-end brands chosen for the Penthouse reflect the same commitment to thoughtful design, material integrity and performance that defines every Concert Properties’ building. This home simply takes that standard to its highest expression.

The scale and setting of the Penthouse are undeniably exceptional, like the standards behind it. “Whether it’s a penthouse, condominium or rental home, we obsess over the same details—things like millwork edges and floor transitions,” says Brown. “That level of care is what sets us apart.” She continues, “We bring the same commitment to every home we build and the Penthouse at TESORO reflects that care, craftsmanship and vision.”
